Revised Process for Foreign Currency Pre-defined Account (effective from 20 Dec 2010)

To cope with internal operation of the bank, starting today, the setup of pre-defined foreign currency accounts for internal transfer / outward remittance services via internet banking must be applied at HSBC branches in person. After the first application in person, future addition / deletion of pre-defined accounts may be applied via mail or visiting branches.

As such, please complete related service agreement at any HSBC branch in person if you expect to apply for any pre-defined accounts addition/deletion under internet banking services. For customers without such agreement signed at branches, we unfortunately will no longer process applications of pre-defined account addition / deletion after January 20, 2011. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences which may have caused and thank you for your cooperation.
