In accordance with Central Bank regulations, if a beneficiary bank receives an inward remittances advice containing incomplete information on the remitter (name, account number, address), the beneficiary bank will contact the originating bank to request the missing information. If the beneficiary bank does not receive the missing information promptly, the bank has right to refuse the remittance. To prevent processing delays, we therefore strongly advise customers to remind senders to provide their complete remitter information to the originating bank when making a remittance.
