Mobile Banking is evolving

At HSBC, we focus on delivering best in class digital services to our customers. As part of this commitment, we are in the process of implementing new online and mobile banking experiences to you in Taiwan.  

Whilst we continue our evolution, some functions that you have previously used online may, for a short time, only be available through the call center or our branches. Please refer to below link for more detail on the service change.

    Transfer money with ease to your own HSBC accounts, other saved payees and your HSBC credit card payment.
  • Stay safe with profile management
    Manage devices and security settings to keep your accounts  under control.

*Supported devices for biometric authentication features are as follows:

  • Available on Touch ID enabled Apple iPhone and iPad or later running on iOS 10.3.3 or above. Fingerprint ID is supported on most Android devices with OS version Android 8.0 or above. For security concerns, Fingerprint ID is not supported on Samsung 10/ S10 devices. 
  • Available on Face ID enabled Apple iPhone X or later, and iPad Pro running on iOS 10.3 or above. Currently, Face ID is not supported on Android devices for security reasons.

*Please note that changes to the core functions of mobile banking will be done on the ongoing basis. During the process of change, some services such as open new term deposit, transfer to non-predestinated or non-saved payee and transfer to foreign currency account in other domestic bank will be temporarily unavailable via mobile banking. Please log on internet banking for the services. Starting year 2020, we’ll resume these services as soon as possible.

*Starting 11 December 2019, the previous version of HSBC Mobile Banking App will no longer be supported.
