What’s new

Transfer to non-saved payee with local currency account

You can add new payee to easily transfer money to non-predestinated or non-saved payee with local currency account, after which the same will also be available for view and selection on HSBC Taiwan app for all future transfers. In addition, we suggest you to add bank names to payee names, such as, Chloe Lin (CTBC).

Supported devices for biometric authentication features are as follows:

  • Available on Touch ID enabled Apple iPhone and iPad or later running on iOS 12.2 or above. Fingerprint ID is supported on most Android devices with OS version Android 6 or above. To enable Fingerprint ID on Samsung Galaxy S10 or Note 10 devices, please ensure the version of the biometrics security patch on the device is 2.0.24.20 or above.
  • Available on Face ID enabled Apple iPhone X or later, and iPad Pro running on iOS 12.2 or above. Currently, Face ID is not supported on Android devices for security reasons.

*Please note that changes to the core functions of mobile banking will be done on the ongoing basis. During the process of change, some services such as open new term deposit, and transfer to foreign currency account in other domestic bank will be temporarily unavailable via mobile banking. Please log on internet banking for the services.
