• Log on with either a 6-digit PIN or biometrics (Face/Touch ID) on supported devices

Supported devices for biometric authentication features are as follows:

• iOS users: You can log on to HSBC Taiwan app using Touch ID¹ or Face ID².
• Android users: You can log on to HSBC Taiwan app using Fingerprint ID^3,4.

¹ Available on Touch ID enabled Apple iPhone, iPad or later running on iOS 14 or above

² Available on Face ID enabled Apple iPhone X or later, and iPad Pro running on iOS 14 or above

³ Fingerprint ID: If your device OS is Android 8.0 or above, you will be able to use Fingerprint ID unless your device is deemed unsecure by the app.

⁴ Samsung S9/S9+ Fingerprint ID: If your device OS is Android 10.0 or newer and you've downloaded the latest app version, you will not be able to use Fingerprint ID.

• Transfer money between your HSBC Taiwan accounts in local and foreign currency. 
  
• Transfer money to payees with local currency accounts. 
• Make bill payments to HSBC credit card.

*Please note that changes to the core functions of mobile banking will be done on the ongoing basis. During the process of change, some services such as open new term deposit, and transfer to foreign currency account in other domestic bank will be temporarily unavailable via mobile banking. Please log on internet banking for the services.

Generate online banking security codes:

• Log on to online banking
• Verify transactions
• Re-authenticate code

*To generate online banking security codes, you’ll first need to download the latest HSBC Taiwan App and activate Digital Secure Key.

• Step 1: Tap 'Forgot your user password?' and ‘Request new password’.
• Step 2 : Create a new user password

*Password must be 8-30 alphanumeric characters and must contain at least 1 letter and 1 number.

• Step 3 :  Create security question and answer

*Security answer must be 3-30 characters and can only contain letter, numbers or special characters.

• Step 4 : Keep your reference number and call us to activate your new password. 

• Search stocks, ETFs and funds by keywords and codes
• View stocks, ETFs and funds quotation and performance
• Buy/Sell stocks, ETFs and funds
• Review order status of stocks, ETFs and funds
• Modify/cancel stocks, ETFs and funds orders

• An overview of Allianz Life insurance policies purchased through HSBC TW is displayed on the mobile banking app Accounts section
• Check the detailed information of the purchased policy*: basic policy information, payment information, policy value, beneficiary...etc.

*Currently, only Allianz policy information is displayed. For policy information from other insurance companies, please refer to the insurance company’s statements.
