Online banking is evolving

At HSBC, we focus on delivering best in class digital services to our customers. As part of this commitment, we are in the process of implementing new online and mobile banking experiences to you in Taiwan.  

Whilst we continue our evolution, some functions that you have previously used online may, for a short time, only be available through the call center or our branches . Please refer to below link for more detail on the service change.

What’s changing?

  • Simplified log-on process
    Our new Logon journey will be replacing the current one making it simpler and faster, whilst being just as secure as it has always been.

Highlight

Since we are progressively upgrading our online banking, you might see different formats of pages during your logon process. Don’t worry, it’s as expected during the upgrading period. We will notify you when all upgrades for the logon features complete.

We will firstly update the online banking login page where you enter your username.
You might see the existing interfaces when you proceed to the next step for entering your password and security code.
After entering your password and security code, you will get access to your internet banking.

What functions are covered in Online Banking?

Never lose a bank statement

Tired of misplacing your paperwork? Or are your financial files full to bursting? Switch to online statements and you'll never have to file your bank statements again. Once you opt in, you can quickly and securely access digital copies of your statements, anytime.

Digital bank statements are in the same format as hardcopies. The only thing that changes is the way you receive them. And if you ever need a paper copy of a statement, you can give us a call or visit us at your local branch to request one.

Online banking security

Your safety is paramount to us. Our online banking service is protected by industry-level strong data encryption, providing the strongest defense against unauthorised access. You'll need the following data for logging on to your online banking account.

Usernames and passwords

First of all, you need to provide your username and password.

  • If you've forgotten your username, please call us at 02-8072-3000 or (886) 2-8072-3000, and our customer service representatives will be happy to help you.
  • If you've forgotten your password, enter your username first and click the 'Continue' option to re-apply for a new password as prompted.

Security device

Your security device adds an extra layer of security to the online banking process. When you log on with a security device, you'll get access to online banking services. If you have questions about your HSBC security device, you can get help from the FAQ section.
