   1. Provide consultation services for general healthcare and sanitation issues based on the member’s individual conditions.
   2. Provide healthcare consultation prior to the member’s departure, including information regarding local medical resources, considerations for individuals with chronic illnesses, recommendations for quality medical institutions in local countries/territories, and essential travel medications.

2. Hospitalisation arrangements in mainland China
   1. Recommendations for mainland healthcare institutions: Due to the discrepancy in the quality of healthcare providers in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau), medical services from hospitals screened by our partner, International SOS and qualified under international standards are made available to cardholders. Current distribution of collaborating hospitals in China: 120 hospitals in over 31 cities.
   2. Services provided during observation: When a cardholder is hospitalised, healthcare consultation and assistance from medical professionals in Taiwan can be provided over the phone. The medical professional in Taipei can contact the cardholder’s physician in the mainland by phone, email or fax in order to make a medical assessment and determine if the prescribed treatment is appropriate.
   3. Waiver of hospitalisation deposit: In order to simplify the hospitalisation process, hospitalisation deposit is waived at qualified International SOS hospitals.
   4. Advance for medical expenses: Advance for medical expenses can be arranged if required. However, members are responsible for the payment of the relevant service fees and the medical expenses.
